3.7. Consequences of non compliance with minimum filing requirements

An application that does not meet the minimum filing requirements will not be given a filing date until it does comply.

7.1 The Registrar will notify the applicant within 14 days of non compliance and allow the applicant two months from the date of the letter detailing non compliance to rectify the deficiencies in the application.  The application will not be filed until the deficiencies are met.


7.2 If the deficiencies are not rectified in the time allowed, the application will be deemed not filed.  Any fees paid in relation to the application will be refunded.


7.3 If the application is rectified within the time allowed, the filing date given to the application will be the date the office received the correspondence which rectified all the deficiencies in the application, provided the appropriate fee has been paid.
