Part 7.2. Who can withdraw an application, notice or request?

An application, notice or request may be withdrawn by the following persons:

  • The person who had filed the application, notice or request.  (If the application, notice or request was filed by more than one person, the withdrawal notice must be signed by or on behalf of each person.)
  • Part 2 General Filing Requirements
  • A person in whom the right or interest on which the original person relied to file the application, notice or request has become vested (e.g. successor in title), provided that the person with vested rights or interest satisfies the Registrar of their rights or interest (see paragraph 3.5).
  • A person duly authorised by a person or persons mentioned above
