6.2.6 Obscurities, Inconsistencies or Contradictions

A similar procedure to that given in 6.2.5 Subjects to be Excluded from the Search is to be followed where the search examiner considers that a meaningful search is not possible because of obscurities, inconsistencies or contradictions in the specification, to the extent that it is impossible to arrive at a reasonable conclusion as to the scope of the claimed invention.
