10.1 Online Services
Overview
Online Services is where applicants and/or their representatives submit their applications. The application should include the IP Australia Online Services receipt of payment in order to be a valid request. Ensure that the application is not a copy of a recently lodged application by checking the PBR System database.
The QP portal, used by Qualified Persons (QP) to submit detailed descriptions, is also accessible via Online Services.
When the Nomination of a Qualified Person (QP) form is included as part of the application; search PlantBase for the QP and record their Contact ID to be used in creating the New PBR application. Check if the Owner/Applicant already exists in PlantBase and write down the Owner ID to be used to create the PBR new application.
The following information is sent through Online Services:
- full name, address and contact numbers
- current employment details
- qualifications
- relevant experience
- species or group of species for which accreditation is being sought
- the geographical area in which the QP will act
- names, addresses and telephone numbers of three referees
- whether or not consultant or non-consultant status is being sought.
This page will show you how PBR applications are lodged via Online Service.
