Part 39.8. Notification of Protection process for International Registrations Designating Australia

Date Published

International Registrations Designating Australia (IRDA) have different requirements from standard applications in relation to registration.

Once an IRDA has gained protection in Australia, a notice of protection is sent to the IB and the Australian/New Zealand address for service (if one is recorded). This notice is attached to the file records, and includes the extent of the protection.
