5.7.6.2 Amendment or Correction of Sequence Listings

When a sequence listing is amended, inserted or replaced all the normal requirements for filing amendments to the specification still apply (s102, reg 10; see 5.7.4). A statement of proposed amendments that makes clear what the intended amendment is should be provided (5.7.4.1), and care should be taken to ensure that new matter is not introduced.
These requirements also apply to any amendments relating to sequence listing(s) filed on physical media that form part of the specification.
