6.2.6 Obscurities, Inconsistencies or Contradictions

If the search examiner considers that a meaningful search is not possible due to obscurities, inconsistencies or contradictions in the specification – to the extent that it is impossible to arrive at a reasonable conclusion as to the scope of the claimed invention – a similar procedure to that outlined in 6.2.5 Subjects to be Excluded from the Search should be followed.
